About the role
Through our training opportunity, you’ll be making the most of your talents, getting to understand operations from the ground up, and doing so with the help of one of the best names in the industry.
You will be trained in all aspects of assisted living from simple product refurbishment to the installation of new Stairlifts as well as carrying out repairs and routine servicing to a wide range of products including highly complex equipment. You will learn to diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults as well as how to avoid breakdowns and demonstrating best user practices.
Applicants do not need any formal qualifications within the industry but must demonstrate a willingness to learn, an aptitude for the technical aspects of the role, and an understanding of the importance of customer service.
Some experience and a clean driving license would be beneficial
The Candidate will also attend training courses provided by the biggest manufacturers in the field and have the opportunity to work with our experienced technicians.
On completion of your apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Field Service Technician, and your role will involve traveling to work at customer sites, a company vehicle, tablet PC, smartphone, and company credit card. additional salary and bonus package.

Easy Mobility Services are Assisted Living experts specialising in the supply and install of stairlifts, scooters, specialist clinical, and mobility aids throughout East Anglia.
Over the past 10 years, Easy Mobility Services has built a reputation in the South East for excellence and integrity achieving commendation from Motability for outstanding customer services. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an engineer/technician to join our team of specialists.
You will be responsible for the installation of new stairlifts as well as carrying out repairs and routine servicing to a wide range of products both within our clients’ homes and business premises. As well as delivering and setting up these products for customers you will be able to ensure that they are confident with their usage. You will need to be able to quickly diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults as well as explaining how to avoid breakdowns and demonstrating best user practices to our often-elderly clients. Empathy, patience, and a commitment to customer care are essential to the role.
Your role is to make a difference in the lives of our customers, both new and those we have built relationships with over many years. This is a full-time role and you will be required to provide on-call support on a rota basis.
